As the University of Hull are a University of sanctuary, Hull Sport are hosting a 5 aside football tournament on Thursday 20^th June as part of Refugee week.

The Celebrations of Nations event is a 5aside football tournament available to anybody of the age of 18 years old to enter a team to represent a country as part of refugee week. The purpose of the event is to celebrate football, how the sport can bring so many people together and to provide an afternoon at the University. The event is completely free of charge for teams to enter and will take place from 11.30 until 3.30pm.

As valued members at Hull Sport, we would love to invite you to take part in the event with friends, colleagues to represent a country as part of refugee week.

So what are the details…..

• 20^th June at the University of Hull, Hull Sport Park @ 11.30-3.30pm
• Teams: minimum of 5 people / maximum of 8 per team
• Ages: 18 years and above
• Cost: free to enter
• How to enter: by emailing hullsport@hull.ac.uk by 10^th June. Teams must pre-register prior to event
