We’re in the planning stages of something special at The University of Hull…
We’re exploring plans for padel courts to update and enhance our facilities!
Combining elements of squash and tennis, padel is one of the biggest up and coming sports. Played primarily in doubles, it’s a fast-paced, action packed, strategic game. Unlike tennis, the surrounding walls are part of the game, meaning rallies are longer and there’s plenty of room for tactical play.
As more padel courts open across the UK and around the world, the sport continues to grow in popularity thanks to its welcoming community and inclusive nature. It’s suitable for all ages and abilities, making it an ideal activity for all groups.
There’s never been a better time, or place, to get involved in Padel in Hull. The University of Hull facilities have hosted prestigious sporting events including the Allam British Squash Open and the England Netball National Premier League Play-Offs. Sign up for more information and to be the first to hear when you can come and play!
We’re in the planning phase at the moment – for any enquiries, or if you have any questions, please email us on sport@hull.ac.uk.
