After a tough race taking bronze at the BUCS Sprint only a few weeks ago, Matt Nelson runs an impressive 1 hour 50 minute finish to take the gold medal representing Hull University at the BUCS Standard Distance Triathlon in Southport!

Matt beat over 220 runners in the BUCS race, and a further 500 from the open entry race. Tyler Smith of University of Leeds, and Harry Leleu of Loughborough University took silver and bronze respectively. This is Matt's second gold at a BUCS triathlon in 2 years and his third podium finish.
