Kickstart your Football career with Hull Sport

The University of Hull Football Leadership programme is a workforce development initiative geared on developing students into the next generation of football coaches and referees to service the game at the University of Hull. Supporting and promoting student involvement through Hull Sport and our partner, Cottingham Rangers - the region's largest grassroots football team!

The University of Hull recently secured funding from BUCS Development and the FA to recruit and create a team of football coaches and referees. The Football Leadership Programme will provide a platform for workforce development, enhancement, and first-hand experience working in football. Successful candidates will receive financial support to complete their coaching and refereeing qualifications as well as give mentorship and on-campus football placements.

The application to join the Football Leadership Programme is live until Friday, 20th October 2023. There are limited places in the programme, and we cannot guarantee that all applicants will be accepted.
