Your guide to sport at the University of Hull
From free social sport and intramural leagues to volunteering and financial support, there are plenty of ways to get involved in sport and physical activity during the 2026/27 academic year.
Free Campus Sport Week
To kick off the academic year, all Campus Sport sessions are free from 28th September to 4th October.
Try something new, bring a friend, or simply turn up and play. Activities include futsal, basketball, badminton, football, cricket, touch rugby and wheelchair rugby.
All sessions take place at the Allam Sports Centre and are open to students, staff and community members aged 16+.
No experience or regular commitment is required.
Campus Sport
Our weekly turn-up and play programme continues from 5th October to 23rd December.
Most sessions cost £2.50, with Wheelchair Rugby, Women’s Football, Touch Rugby and Wellbeing Wednesday remaining free.
Whether you play regularly or are trying a sport for the first time, you can come along whenever it suits you.
