Want to join us in making a difference?
Hull Sport are raising funds in aid of the British Inspiration Trust (BRIT) and Her Breast Friends (Hull) by completing 2,022 miles from 1st February to the 3rd March.
All donations will go through the
gofundme.org.uk charity and will be shared equally between BRIT and Hull Breast Friends at the end of the BRIT Challenge.
The BRIT Challenge is an inclusive feel-good February fundraiser for the Higher Education and Further Education sectors which will take place from the 1st February until 3rd March. The Challenge is designed to be completed by individuals working as a team to cover that year's distance (2022 will be 2,022 miles) by either hand-cycling, cycling, wheelchair pushing, swimming, walking, jogging, running, rowing or paddling (canoeing, kayaking or paddle-boarding). The purpose of the challenge is to raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention amongst young adults and Hull Sport are proud to be part of this initiative.
This year, Hull Sport would like to fundraise for both BRIT and Hull Breast Friends. Hull Breast Friends support local people affected by breast cancer in Hull. The charity works at a grass roots level supporting people in a practical and physical way that isn't just about support but inspires and encourages and really does make a difference by promoting a positive approach to living with Breast Cancer in various ways.
