Proud to be part of the Hull Half Marathon 2018

This Sunday, runners taking part in the inaugural Hull Half Marathon will be making their way through campus as the University is an ‘official venue partner’ for the run.

This is a really exciting event and colleagues are encouraged to get involved by supporting the 1600 runners visiting our beautiful campus, including over 40 of our very own staff who will proudly be representing the University in vibrant t-shirts. Colleagues and students from the Faculty of Health Sciences will also be representing the University and providing massages to runners at the finish line in a branded tent – make sure you look out for them.

In addition to the race, there will be live music, food and family games including a giant inflatable football table and Jenga, located on the plaza outside of the Brynmor Jones Library, making it a fun day out for friends and family too. We expect the first runners to come through our campus at 9.45am so make sure you come along and join us!

Spectators can enter the campus via the north west entrance on Inglemire Lane circled on the map here. All visitors will need to park on the temporary car park located on the cricket pitch.

Road closures surrounding the University are shown with the purple line on the map, but the full list of road closures can be found here.
